Position: Indigenous Program Developer & Liaison, National
Reporting to: Karen Pessoa-Warren, Chief Operating Officer
Type of Position: Contract
Hours: 15-20 hours per week, Some travel required

The Indigenous Program Developer & Liaison networks and promotes Start2Finish locally in various regions across Turtle Island, working with community partners to develop culturally relevant programming that combines literacy, fitness, and social-emotional learning to meet the needs of local children in grades 1-8. The role seeks out new opportunities to introduce Start2Finish programs and collaborative resources to First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit school boards, schools, Bands, and local Indigenous cultural/friendship centres and community organizations to work together to benefit the community. The Indigenous Program Developer & Liaison promotes partnership opportunities and adaptation of Start2Finish programming to Indigenous schools and organizations and creates opportunities for collaboration with Indigenous-serving community groups to support Indigenous youth well-being.
