As a chartered accountant and senior financial professional, Paul has had a successful 30-year career in the finance industry. This, coupled with his vast volunteer experience with charities such as YMCA of Greater Toronto and United Way Toronto, and as Chair of the Board of Regents at Victoria University in the University of Toronto, has enabled Paul to provide a wealth of skill and leadership to Start2Finish. He is also an avid runner and tri-athlete, and a passionate “coach” at one of S2F’s weekly Running & Reading Club programs.

Shevawn Adams served as Chair for our Board of Directors for a five year term. Since joining in 2007, her powerful commitment and enthusiasm towards Start2Finish has never ceased. Her current focus is on strategic planning, governance and, most recently, rebranding. In addition to owning her own design firm with projects in both Canada and the USA, Shevawn brings 30 years of experience in not-for-profit board management.
Peter Lambert - secretary

Peter Lambert has been a board member of Start2Finish since 2003. In addition to Secretary, Peter is a member of the Finance and Scholarship Committees. For the past 30 years, Peter has been active in the field of wealth management serving the needs of individual and institutional investors. Prior to Start2Finish, Peter was a founding member of Oakville Little League Baseball where he was president for 3 years. Peter holds a Masters of Science degree in Motor Learning from The Pennsylvania State University.

Stephen joined the board of Start2Finish in November 2011, and has taken on the role of Treasurer, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee. With several decades of experience as a senior finance professional, Stephen’s expertise is invaluable in ensuring that the highest level of integrity is maintained in relation to Start2Finish’s financial processes.

The organization he founded fourteen years ago, is transforming the education landscape, equipping all Canadian children with the tools they need to succeed. Through education reform, child advocacy, groundbreaking programming, and research, he is creating a level playing field.
Managing Partner, channel c MARKETING CONSULTANT
As a marketer, Clive brings 20 years of media strategy experience and an eye for innovation. Responsibilities as managing partner include go to market strategy, brand development, digital marketing and integrated channel strategies. Clive's strength is combining his knowledge with the client's requirements to create solutions that deliver results. In turn, this positions companies as the leader in their industry and among their audiences. Clive brings great expertise in helping to develop and implement a MarCom strategy for the Start2Finish brand.

Marla’s not for profit involvement began in her early career in social services working with at risk children and adolescents. In recent years she served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Center for Career Alternatives in Seattle, WA, and participated in the Citizens Impact Committee of United Way and the Healthcare Advisory Committee of the University of Montana. Marla is a seasoned human resources leader with experience in senior HR positions in both the US and Canada. She was thrilled to accept a position on the S2F Board in May 2012, and her breadth of HR leadership and experience in leading a variety of HR functions in different industries is an asset to Start2Finish’s continuing growth and success.
DIRECTOR - STRATEGY AND COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE, AIMIA
Brendan joined the Start2Finish Board of Directors in November 2014 after advising the Board on its strategic direction. He built his career as a strategy professional first with Secor Consulting, then with KPMG Management Consulting, and now with Aimia. Brendan brings insight, realism and optimism as he works with others to craft sound strategy. Brendan holds an M.Sc. in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and an HBA from the Ivey School of Business. Brendan is a competitive triathlete and an active alumnus of the Ivey Business School. His willingness to “get his hands dirty”, his youthful energy, and his passion to make a difference make him an invaluable asset to the Start2Finish team.
Vice President/Partner, AMJ Campbell – Specialized Logistics
Paul Paquette has been involved with S2F for over 13 years as a volunteer managing the logistics for fund collection for the Run4Change, as well as Chair of the “Beyond the Stage” event in support of Start2Finish. He joined the Board of Directors in April 2016 and brings over 28 years of experience in logistics nationally and internationally, marketing, and sales. Paul is currently Vice President/Partner with AMJ Campbell, Specialized Logistics. His focus on the S2F Board is fundraising and risk management.
Independent Review Committee Member, Lincluden Investment Management
Daniela Hampton-Davies has had a successful executive career in the financial markets focused on global equities. She worked for UBS AG in Zurich Switzerland, CIBC in London, U.K., and UBS securities in Toronto. Daniela has been active in governance roles serving as a member of the boards of St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School, Oakville Senior Citizens Residence, Start2Finish and working on the Independent Review committee for Lincluden Investment Management. Daniela is also a member of the Heritage Review Committee for the Town of Oakville. Daniela completed the International MBA program at the Schulich School of Business, and has a BA in Economics and Political Science from Huron College, Western University. Daniela is pleased to share her strengths in strategy, finance and governance with the Start2Finish board and organization.
Joanne is a lawyer who worked as a Senior Legal Counsel for the Ontario Securities Commission until 2014. She joined the Start2Finish Board of Directors in April 2017. Joanne has been on the Board of the Oakville Community Foundation and Waterstone Foundation for several years, and has also been on the organizing committee for the OTMH (Hospital) Gala for a number of years. She is married to Michael Bowick and is the proud mother of 2 young women. Her dog, Oliver, has been certified as a therapy dog and Joanne takes him to work with children.
