  • Luce Paradis - Community Partnerships Liaison

    Luce Paradis is a retired educator with over 30 years experience with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Education. She has been a French as a second lang- uage teacher, a consultant for the French Department and the Information Technology Department, a vice- principal and a principal, the latter being the longest position held within the school board.

    Luce has extensive experience in the under-resourced communities of Ottawa where she developed a strong community-building approach as an integral part of the school, in order to best serve the community. She is currently S2F's Community Partnerships Liaison and is responsible for reaching out to school boards and other community partners in under-resourced communities throughout the country, supporting the mission to provide educational support to Canada's most vulnerable children.

  • Michelle Wray - Curriculum Developer

    Michelle has a BA(Hons) in English and Communication Studies, a Volunteer Management Leadership Certificate, and a Positive Education certification. She has co-developed our social-emotional learning curriculum and continues to build and enhance our program manuals and curriculum resources. She has 12 years of experience in community engagement and volunteer and program management, and has been instrumental in building our volunteer process and managing our 70 programs and over 700 volunteers nationwide.

  • Gabrielle Warren - Research & Advocacy Director

    Gabrielle Warren has her Masters of Education from York University and is currently a Ph.D. student in Curriculum and Pedagogy at OISE/University of Toronto. She is interested in literacy, critical pedagogy, and the history of Canadian education. Her current project is researching critical literacy practices in elementary education. In praxis, she works as an advocate and researcher with Start2Finish Canada.
