Trauma Informed Movement: Getting Regulated
$0.00
The objective of these activities is to help students get regulated.
Self-regulation is a set of skills that allow kids to manage their emotions, behavior, and body movement, especially when they are faced with a situation that is tough to handle. When we are dysregulated, it is harder for us to take in information, respond, problem-solve, and have emotional control. We may act impulsively or aggressively. Learning how to regulate ourselves helps us get back to ‘normal’ after experiencing higher stress levels, which builds our resilience.
