The effects of child deprivation threaten every part of our society. By intervening, we create a better future for all our kids.

Our mission is to break the cycle of child poverty by providing ongoing educational support to Canada’s at-risk children throughout their school years, nuturing mind, body, and social health so they are empowered to succeed and become role models for change.

Start2Finish Indigenous Collaborations

As part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, we have committed to support the provision of culturally relevant programming and curriculum for school-aged Indigenous students. We are working to collaborate continuously and partner with Indigenous schools/boards to support creating programs to improve education attainment levels and success rates. In community outreach, we work with Indigenous Advisors as part of an Advisory Circle who oversee the development of our Indigenous relations and partnerships across Turtle Island.

Our work as a vehicle to help students succeed.

For the last 20+ years, what has driven us is the desire to make Canada one of the best places to raise a child. Our work targets three outcomes for school-aged students living on the margins: increased physical activity and develops social-emotional agencies, aid in reaching and maintaining literacy skills and develop skills and agencies that contribute to success in high school. Achieving these outcomes is the key to making our ambitious vision of success for all Canadian children a reality.

Providing resources to empower kids for life.

Start2Finish Resources offer a different perspective on educational enrichment founded on positive education. By providing resources based on scientific research and 20 + years of experience in communities of complexity, we desire to support educators and childcare workers who mentor, support and uplift children in school, communities, and online. Our resources prepare students for high school, promote well-being, and support literacy skills. As Canada is economically and socially divided, our resources are intended to respond culturally to the realities of school-aged children today.
